Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required; Level 1 or 2 experience preferred 2. Cases: Must have experience with stable chronic ventilators 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH required; IV Start preferred; must pass online EKG tele competency assessment before starting 4. License: Any state RN license accepted; can apply for temp license on offer (takes 5-10 days); compact license accepted; no past license action accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Must work every other weekend/holiday; targeted patient ratios 1:4 but can be up to 1:5-6; 36 or 48 hour contracts available 8. RTO: Request with initial submittal only; no RTO added after offer; maximum 14 days allowed; manager's discretion for approval 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius for nursing; locals not accepted 11. Background: Facility does not accept any past license action 12. Modules: 18-24 average hours during orientation; up to 24 hours billable; up to 8 hours annually; self-reported to manager 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: Bear Hugger, SCD Machines, IV pumps, PD machines, Cardiac Monitor, O2 Monitor, Chest Tubes, Tube Feeds Critical: Lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract.
