Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of PCU experience required 2. Cases: Acute care ortho trauma unit with PCU patients; diagnoses include SBO, Fall, Laceration, PNA, head injury, TBI, Trauma, ileus, fistula, fractures 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission required 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; patient ratios 4:1 days/nights/weekends; 3 weekend shifts per contract; floating required to different units within OSU organization 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility 6 months or more; current employees ineligible as travelers at any OSU location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after contract signing 12. Modules: 72 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16.
