Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU required 2. Cases: Kidney transplants, liver transplants, pancreas transplants, r/o rejection, infections, AKI, uncontrolled diabetes, hepatology, GI bleed 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 hour night shifts; weekend coverage required; must float to different units within OSU organization as needed 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible for traveler positions 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Strict fingerprinting process required; must complete fingerprints immediately after signing contract 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel nursing experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Telemetry, bladder scanner, dopplers Critical: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start. Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director. Skills include IV starts, telemetry monitoring, accessing/managing ports, central line care, PICC line management. Patient ratio approximately 1:5.
