Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; strong Stepdown/PCU background required; transplant, renal, or high-acuity medical patients preferred 2. Cases: Kidney transplants, liver transplants, pancreas transplants, rejection cases, infections, AKI, uncontrolled diabetes, hepatology, GI bleed 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; must have valid compact or state license in hand at submission 4. License: Active Ohio RN License required 5. Education: Must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic charting required 7. Shifts/Call: Call required; float required within OSU organization; every other or every third weekend coverage; patient ratios 3:1 days/nights/weekends 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees ineligible as travelers 10.
