- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Most all Gen Med issues including opioid abuse, organ failure, change in LOC, behavior issues, MRDD/delay issues 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Active Ohio RN license or valid compact license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s weekdays and some weekends; 3-4 weekend days per month; patient ratio 4:1 days/nights/weekends; float required to different units within OSU organization 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; must be built into contract and required with submission 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11.
