Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent RN experience required 2. Cases: Progressive care / Stepdown / PCU experience preferred; general chronic medical conditions 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS required 4. License: Ohio license required; must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic documentation system 7. Shifts/Call: Float required to different units within OSU organization; call required; weekend coverage required; 4:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends 8. RTO: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract; two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; first-time travelers accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 36 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16.
