Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel; 18 months of recent Stepdown experience required 2. Cases: Stepdown unit experience required; PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required 3. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; must be active with nothing pending 4. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand; compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward; facility does not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12's only; D/N rotating shift 7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm; must work at least every other holiday 8. RTO: All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date; one reference from manager, ANM, supervisor or director in specialty required 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same BR 11. Background: Background hits reviewed but will not accept traveler with open case 12. Modules: 4 hours billable, additional time non-billable; average 6-15 hours; completed pre-start via Silkroad 13. Travel Experience: 18 months recent Stepdown travel experience will suffice 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: PAPRs will not be considered alternative for caregivers with facial hair except with approved medical or religious exemption Critical: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completed during orientation with acceptable scores required.
