Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Neuro trauma, subarachnoid/intraventricular/intracerebral hemorrhage, ENT cancer patients with tumor resection and flap reconstruction, post-operative spine patients, neurological problems 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license (pending acceptable, must have in-hand Wednesday before start date); Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Night shifts, every other weekend, every other holiday; patient ratio 1:3 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; no additional requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of separation; facility does not allow return after 365 days on assignment 10. Travel/Local: This unit does not have 50-mile radius restriction; locals accepted 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of background hits 12.
