- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; Neuro experience requested (screen if limited) 2. Cases: Intermediate population sub-specialized with neurological population and medical intermediate patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CCRN, TNCC, CPI preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days 06:45-19:15; no call requirement; minimum 3 weekend shifts every six weeks; patient ratios 1:4 weekends, 1:3-4 general 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less (not on holidays); more requires approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months; rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles offered lower local rate; travel experience required; will not accept first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12.
