- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: ED boarding patients with MedSurg/PCU level of care; patients range from MS level to PCU/stepdown/ICU level 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH required 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, every other weekend required, no on-call 8. RTO: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; can auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO or less 9. Returning Staff: Any PERM or PRN employee must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions; eligible locals offered in-state rate at lower BR 11. Background: Background policy noted prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first timers not accepted 14.
