- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1-2 years preferred experience, will accept first time travelers 2. Cases: Medical, Oncology, Telemetry and End of Life; Oncology preferred but strong telemetry experience preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; copies required prior to start, will take pending certifications 4. License: Valid state license must be pending or candidate must be willing to participate in Aya licensure project 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights (1900-0730); every other weekend; every other holiday; patient ratio nights: 5 8. RTO: Maximum 10 days; if during holidays, must work 1 of 3 holidays 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 years before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50 mile radius rule; will not take locals 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: Up to 8 hours completed pre-start within 1 week of signing; billable up to 8 hours, average 3-8 hours; self-reported 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue top/White or Royal Blue bottom 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Various including BiPAP/CPAP, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips Critical: Must pass medication and EKG test. Unit floats within hospital or affiliate hospitals.
