Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year med-surg-cardiac/Telemetry experience required 2. Cases: Direct patient care, Med/Surg/Cardiac nursing care; acutely ill Med/Surg patients transitioning from ICU, cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring and IV medications including antiarrhythmic medications, heparin; patients requiring bi-pap 3. Certifications: ACLS, NIH and BCLS required; all RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; Illinois license required in hand at submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system; EPIC experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: 12 hour nights, 1845 to 0715, Fri/Sat/Sun block scheduling; on-call not required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13 week contract; no RTO first week; every other weekend required 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13.
