- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Stroke care background, post cardiac cath patients, step down or tele experience with stroke patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, telemetry background required; must obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: MO license or compact license required; Illinois requires license in hand at submission; compact license must match permanent residence state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights 1900-0730; every third weekend; ratio 1:4-6 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; can stay 18 months maximum then take 3-month break 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of signed contract and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Light gray/silver 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: BiPAP/CPAP, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, chest tubes, PICC lines, wound vac Critical: Required to float between Progress West and St. Peters as needed. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. References preferred at submittal. Every other weekend required per BJC policy.
