Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1-2 years preferred; first-timers accepted 2. Cases: Nephrology Telemetry; patient diagnoses include COVID, unstable cardiac (HF, a-fib, MI, etc.), renal failure 3. Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS required by compliance deadline for most RNs 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system; EPIC experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: 1:5-6 ratios; 2 shifts every other weekend; no on-call required; may float within similar units 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be on submittal 9. Returning Staff: Former employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Lift equipment; peritoneal dialysis equipment Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Skills required include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Must screen if missing required skills.
