Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, cardiology units; CVA, total joint replacement 3. Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required; IV start and Telemetry required; NIH preferred; must obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois not compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience strongly preferred; required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum); no on-call required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be on submittal 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Lift devices, ceiling lifts, bladder scanner (will train) Critical: Must float to all medical units, renal, oncology, neuro. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing.
