Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Cardiac Telemetry; TAVR, LAA's Telemetry, Cardiac patients, Pre & Post CTS care, chest tubes, Post PCI 3. Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS and CPI preferred; All RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required for certain units; EPIC is charting system throughout BJC 7. Shifts/Call: 1:5-6 ratios nights; No on-call required; 6 weekend shifts in 6 week period; Every other weekend required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days RTO per 13 week contract; No RTO first week; RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; Standard travelers can stay 18 months then take 3 month break 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates within 75 mile radius accepted 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Tele/reading rhythms required; cardiac medications and drips (no titration); External Pacemaker; Monitor Chesttube Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Will float within scope and service line. References preferred at submittal.
