Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: MS/Tele with cardiac monitoring and emergency response; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; use of Rapid Response/Code teams 3. Certifications: BLS required; NIHSS 4. License: Active New York Single State RN license required in hand to submit (NY is not Compact) 5. Education: Foreign education requires verification notification at submittal 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 1900p-0700a; every other weekend; must be available every other holiday if needed 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO; must submit requests upon submission 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles not accepted; first-time travelers accepted 11. Background: Reviewed case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Navy blue and white combination 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management Critical: Patient ratios 1:5; floating required within skillset; 24 orientation hours; charge experience preferred.
