Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: MS/Tele cases; patient ratio 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg 3. Certifications: BLS required, NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: NY license required in hand - no exceptions 5. Education: Foreign education must be verified if applicable 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 4x12 Nights 1900-0700; floating required; every other weekend 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Must be more than 75 mile radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Up to 5 hours billable, total may reach 10 hours; completed pre-start; excess over 5 hours non-billable 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any combo of navy and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Cardiac monitoring, IV therapy/phlebotomy peripheral line care, respiratory equipment (nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank), non-invasive airway management Critical: Must have NY license in hand with no exceptions. Epic experience is a hard requirement. Must be able to handle 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratios.
