- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; 2 years Telemetry experience with patient ratios of 1:4-5 2. Cases: Must specify experience with cardiac drips; must have 3 of 5 required cardiac drip experiences (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Nitro); experience with DM, COPD, Cardiovascular Disease, Hepatic, Oncology, sepsis protocol and Alcohol withdrawal protocol 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, ONS, PCCN preferred 4. License: CA license required on hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC proficiency required; Epic computer charting preferred but not required 7. Shifts/Call: 3/12s nights; may be called off or placed on call once per pay period with 60 minute callback; every other weekend coverage 8. RTO: Should not exceed 7 days, must be submitted with profile; no RTO within first two weeks of assignment; must work every other holiday 9. Returning Staff: Former employees must have been gone 2+ years to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility; no local travelers allowed 11. Background: DUIs generally allowed if no pattern 12. Modules: 10 hours required for MS/TELE RN; completed pre-start and annually; billable; recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Required; no first-time travelers unless 10 years experience in teaching hospital with residents; minimum 1 contract in MS/Tele unit 14. Scrubs: Navy or white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Central lines; teaching hospital with residents experience highly preferred Critical: Must interpret and manage dysrhythmias in real time. Float pool position supporting 9 different units. Patient ratios 1:4-5. One reference required for submittal.
