- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: MS/Tele patients; patient diagnoses include diabetes, HTN, CAD, seizure, CVA, TIA, CRD 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; NIH preferred 4. License: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start; SC license prioritized 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s days 7a-7:30p, 1:5-6 ratios, every other weekend required, no on-call, floating required within scope 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers; approval based on facility needs 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted case-by-case at 10% less posted bill rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 4 hours, completed pre-start, included in NBO hours 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Royal blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Tele competency required Critical: Hurricane season emergency response teams assignment possible June-November. Tele competency required.
