Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (must have 2 years experience in large, urban hospital) 2. Cases: 45 bed medical/surgical unit providing care to trauma patients with focus on acute and chronic needs for patients that are hemodynamically and medically stable 3. Certifications: BLS required, CPI required 4. License: Nebraska RN License required; pending license accepted but if not in hand at submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hour option; 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in 4-week period; patient ratios 1:5 days/1:6 nights (rare 1:7 nights) 8. RTO: Up to two weeks permitted; must be submitted with application; no RTO during first week of orientation; RTO Blackout Dates 6/11/26 - 6/22/26 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals NOT accepted (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility) 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 24 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Required; first timers NOT accepted (will consider if traveler has 2 years experience at Level I Academic Medical Center) 14.
