- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Telemetry and medsurg; must be trained in both 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: OR license required, can submit with it pending 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required (hardstop) 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no on-call; patient ratios 1:4 telemetry, 1:5 medsurg 8. RTO: 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) 9. Returning Staff: 3 months required between permanent and travel; must disclose previous Providence facility employment 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate; must have vehicle 11. Background: Any hits must be sent for approval prior to submission 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; prefer not first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Any color allowed 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Will float between units and potentially to affiliate hospitals nearby. Epic experience is a hardstop. Two supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. Must request all RTO upfront during submittal.
