Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs/week, weekends/Holidays as needed
Length: 13 Wees
Requirements:
- FL license
- 1 year of experience in the specialty with some previous travel experience required
- BLS
- ACLS preferred
Other Details:
Floating All travelers are required to float to PCU; however, w/o PCU experience they would only assign patients within their skill set.
EMR: CPSI – Evident Thrive (They feel their EMR is really good & easy to learn!)
Ratios Ratios for MedSurg are usually 1 to 6, MAX of 1 to 7 MAX. Manager said it would be very rare if they had 1 to 7 & it would maybe only be 1 nurse w/ 7, the rest would have 6.
When things return to normal, ratios in the “clean stepdown” would be PCU staffing ratios which would be 1 to 4.

- Unit Notes MedSurg/Tele RNs Hospital # of beds: Small community healthcare system, licensed for 100-beds, usual occupancy is around 88-beds. They are constantly growing & expanding!
