Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MedSurg/Tele
Shift: Variable D/N / 12×3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- NH License
- 2 Years Experience
- Must have surgical experience
- Must have experience caring for patients after vascular, thoracic, colorectal and general surgery
- Chest tubes, Tubes, Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone, Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, Trachs/Laryngectomies, Complex wounds, Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws
- Telemetry experience
- BLS
Other Details:
- 32 bed SURGICAL UNIT
- The most common diagnosis’s on their unit: ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, sepsis
- RN Patient ratios on days is 4:1 and on nights is 5:1
- Would they expect the traveler to float: yes
