Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first time travelers OK with surgery trauma experience preferred 2. Cases: High volume: exploratory laps, hemi-colectomies, mastectomies, lap cholecystectomies, eye surgeries, trauma and plastic surgeries. Lower volume: GYN procedures, palliative care, 24-observation, medical overflow 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred 4. License: License in hand required with submission 5. Education: Education verification through 3rd party required; facility will not accept education from Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list schools 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s days 7a-730p, weekend rotation, holidays as needed, no call; can float between all Cone Health campuses 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission, not accepted after submission; two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; no locals accepted; must include current driver's license to confirm address 11. Background: Will not accept any open cases on background check 12. Modules: 2-4 hours average, completed during orientation, non-billable, not included in NBO, unit-based hours vary 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Lift equipment, wound vacs, coude cath (can be trained) Critical: Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs with 2 attempts allowed. Patient ratio 1:5-6. Full compliance file required by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.
