- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; first time travelers OK 2. Cases: Observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, surgical patients/surgical observation 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, NIHSS listed in skills; must be AHA certified; copies required at submission 4. License: License in hand required with submission; submission must include current driver's license to confirm address for local rule 5. Education: Education verification through 3rd party required; facility will not accept education from schools on Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list 6. EMR: EPIC experience REQUIRED 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights 7p-7:30a, EOW, holidays as needed, float required when census is down across all Cone Health facilities 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; no locals accepted 11. Background: Facility will not accept any open cases on background check 12. Modules: 2-4 hours average, completed during orientation, non-billable, not included in NBO, unit-based hours vary 13.
