- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years recent required; 3+ years preferable; Med Surg experience required 2. Cases: Med surg, overflow unit, post surg, observation; medical oncology, GYN surgery, med-surg 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Active RN license in state or compact license required 5. Education: ADN allowed (BSN only required for Le Bonheur Children's, Methodist Rheumatology, and Centralized staffing positions) 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: On-call as needed; weekend coverage as needed; patient ratios 1:5/6 days/nights/weekends 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; RTO after offer will not be approved; during holidays must work 2 of 3 major holidays if all fall during assignment, or 1 of 2 if only 2 fall during assignment 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent and internal associate travelers must be separated for one year before eligible to return; previously employed travelers require AM verification for rehire eligibility 10.
