- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Mainly respiratory and cardiac, but varies greatly 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required 4. License: PA or Compact license in hand required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Rotating shifts - 3 weeks of each in 6 week schedule, every other weekend, float required 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Perm or Per Diem employees must be away for 18 months before returning as travelers; must include any previous permanent employment at Penn Highlands Healthcare in employment history at submission 10. Travel/Local: No locals (50 mile radius) 11. Background: PA Fingerprints must be completed in PA; candidate must complete fingerprint registration and Childline as soon as they sign contract 12.
