Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years with at least 1 year current specialty experience for clinical pass; accepts 1st time travelers 2. Cases: Dehydration and electrolyte abnormalities, nausea and vomiting, chemotherapy/radiation symptom management, acute kidney injury, palliative/pain control, urinary tract infection, syncope, post-procedure requiring overnight stay, transition to hospice, PEG tube/line placement, fever of unknown origin 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS and OCN preferred 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission required 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: May float to James ED and other MS Tele Oncology units; variable weekend shifts based on unit needs 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 72 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Not required as specified 14. Scrubs: Not provided; color navy blue/white required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Alaris pumps, EPIC documentation, telemetry monitoring Critical: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required; 2 professional references required with at least 1 from manager/director; patient ratio 1:4 with charge assignment.
