- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required 2. Cases: Palliative care patients with serious, life-limiting illnesses; symptom management; end-of-life comfort care 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS listed in skills section 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12D/N rotating contract - may be scheduled for days, nights, or combination based on department needs; reviewed every 4-week period 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after contract signing 12. Modules: 72 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Must have experience with pharmacologic/non-pharmacological pain interventions and equianalgesic dosing of opioids Critical: Patient ratios 4:1 all shifts; required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity; strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; 2 professional references required with at least 1 from manager/director.
