- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Trauma Level I and II experience preferred 2. Cases: MS-type patient populations, all types of diagnoses 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS required; must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 4. License: Valid compact or state license required at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratios 1:5 days, nights, and weekends; minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; will be required to float to different units within OSU organization as needed 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off periods; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible for traveler positions at any OSU hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Travel experience required; locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after contract signing 12. Modules: 24 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16.
