- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required 2. Cases: Palliative care for patients with serious, life limiting illnesses; symptom management; end-of-life comfort care 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS noted in skills section 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12D/N rotating contract may include days, nights, or combination based on department needs; patient ratios 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Ohio fingerprinting process required urgently after contract signing 12. Modules: 72 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director. Unit opens 7/1 - travelers starting prior will float to inpatient units until training complete.
