Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years with at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for clinical pass 2. Cases: Oncology experience preferred but not required; variety of oncology diagnoses including solid tumors, blood cancers, post-op care, oncology workup, COPD, CHF, tumor lysis, DIC, Sepsis, chemo administration, neutropenic fevers 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12D/N rotating contract with days, nights, or combination based on department needs; weekend shifts vary based on unit needs 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; pre-approved time off limited to one 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6+ months away; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after contract signing 12. Modules: 72 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Working with Corrections Officers; corrections unit environment with CO access control Critical: Patient ratio 1:3 for PCU, 1:4-5 for MS. Float required to other MedSurg units.
