Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: MS-type patient populations, all types of diagnoses 3. Certifications: ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, BLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3 x 12-hour shifts 7:00AM-7:30PM; minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule; patient ratios 1:5 days/nights/weekends; float required to different units within OSU organization 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off requests; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility 6 months or more; current employees ineligible for traveler positions at any OSU hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Travel experience required; locals accepted at same rate; Trauma Level I and II experience preferred 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after contract signing 12. Modules: 24 orientation hours required 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Various including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy equipment, central lines, PICC lines, wound vac Critical: Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director.
