- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal systems 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred not required; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license accepted pending but must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend; must adhere to float policy; patient ratios 4:1 days, 5:1 nights and weekends 8. RTO: Maximum 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; cannot approve time off Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at University of Virginia Health system; requires one year separation and UVA leadership approval; cannot return after working 365 days regardless of separation period 10. Travel/Local: This unit does not have mile radius rule; locals accepted 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded in Workday; excess hours are billable 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
