Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: General Medicine involving Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal systems 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred not required; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license required; pending accepted but must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Nights; 36 or 48 hours available; every other weekend; must adhere to float policy 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; no Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day approval 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; 1-year separation required; 365-day maximum assignment limit regardless of separation 10. Travel/Local: This unit does not have 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16.
