Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first time travelers OK 2. Cases: General surgical patients, pre-op and post-op care, medical overflow except true cardiac with bipap and drips 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred 4. License: License in hand required with submission 5. Education: Education verification through 3rd party required; facility will not accept education from schools on Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights 7p-730a, EOW/EOH; patient ratios 1:5-6; must float to all Cone campuses as needed 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted; two pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; no locals accepted; must include current driver's license to confirm address 11. Background: Facility will not accept any open cases on background check 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 2-4 hours; completed during orientation, not included in NBO; hours vary by unit 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty; 2 attempts allowed; study material not provided.
