Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required 2. Cases: MS/Tele; gender affirmation surgery patients (comfort required, experience preferred); post-op focus with other medical diagnoses 3. Certifications: BLS and NIH required; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 4. License: Must have either compact license or MD license for MD locations; DC license required for DC locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights 18:30-07:00; every other weekend requirement; specific holiday requirements (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day); no on-call requirements 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Must have been separated from MedStar for minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; driver's license copy required at submittal 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; average 12 hours; billable up to 4 hours 13. Travel Experience: Must complete minimum of 1 travel assignment to be considered 14. Scrubs: Navy blue required; not provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: BiPAP/CPAP, telemetry monitoring, chest tubes, central line care, PCA pumps, wound vac, tracheostomy care Critical: Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
