Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum experience required 2. Cases: MS/Tele unit; post-op focus but sees other medical diagnoses; gender affirmation surgery patients (comfort required, experience preferred) 3. Certifications: BLS and NIH required; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 4. License: DC license in hand required for DC locations; compact license or MD license for MD locations; copy of driver's license required at submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 18:30-07:00 nights, 36 hours; every other weekend requirement; must work 2/3 winter holidays; no on-call requirements 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; candidate address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours duration; completed pre-start and during orientation 13.
