Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum experience required 2. Cases: MS/Tele cases; post-op focus with other medical diagnoses; gender affirmation surgery patients (comfort required, experience preferred) 3. Certifications: BLS and NIH required; ACLS, BLS, NIHSS listed in skills; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 4. License: DC license in hand required for DC locations; compact license or MD license for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours nights, 0620-1900 shift; no on-call requirements; required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; must be included at submittal; maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; will work 2/3 winter holidays and other future holidays 9. Returning Staff: Must have been separated for minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; must have 1 prior travel assignment 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility and unit-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours duration; completed pre-start and potentially during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Must have 1 prior travel assignment 14. Scrubs: Not provided; color required is Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16.
