- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum; 1st timers accepted 2. Cases: Telemetry unit with CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS and NIH required 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend; floating within facility/scope of practice; no call requirements 8. RTO: MAX 7 days; Spring Break blackout (April 4th-12th); if 1-2 major holidays in assignment, no holiday RTO allowed; if 3 major holidays, work 2 with 1 RTO request possible 9. Returning Staff: Must be away 1 FULL YEAR from all Piedmont facilities to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, hours factored in NBO; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Special Equipment: Sara Steady and other lift equipment available; must manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, Heparin Critical: Patient ratio 1:4-5; must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract; TWO supervisory references highly preferred; compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start.
