- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring, pre and post cardiac catheterization patients and pacemaker patients, 24 observation patients to rule out MI, patients with chest pain, shortness of breath, COPD, DM, HTN, Renal failure, care of patients after transfer out of ICU, patients post CVA 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required; ACLS required by compliance deadline for all RNs 4. License: Valid state license required at submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois license required at submission; compact license must match permanent residence state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: On-call required; every other weekend required; patient ratios 1:5 days, 1:6 nights; block scheduling; will float within service line 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be included on submittal 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; standard travelers can stay 18 months then take 3-month break 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract signing and complete 2 Fridays before start date 13.
