Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Medical and Telemetry patients, EKG rhythm identification, non-titrating cardiac drips, acutely ill adult and geriatric general medicine/surgical or infectious disease patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CPI preferred; must obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Illinois license required in hand at time of submission (Illinois is NOT a compact state) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting preferred; Epic experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: Days 0700-1930, 3x12s, no call, every other weekend required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be on submittal 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius; no local candidates accepted 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Patient ratios nights 1:5, float required within service line, labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing, references preferred at submittal, compliance deadline 3pm CST Monday before start date.
