Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 4 years minimum required; first timers not accepted 2. Cases: General, GYN (minimal/robotic), Cardiovascular/Thoracic, Open Hearts, Laparoscopic, Urology, Ortho, Ortho/Totals, Neuro Spine and Crani, and Organ Procurement 3. Certifications: CBSPD and IAHCSMM/HSPA preferred 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: SPM System 7. Shifts/Call: Call requirements rare; every other weekend; floating within SPD sectors 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; blackout dates Spring Break (April 4th-12th); holiday restrictions apply based on number of holidays in assignment period 9. Returning Staff: Must be away for 1 full year from all Piedmont facilities to return as traveler; if deemed unable to return to one facility, must complete successful assignment outside Piedmont before rebooking 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, hours factored in NBO; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15.
