Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years Post Medical Social Work; 1 year minimum traveling experience required; cardiology experience required 2. Cases: Medicine Team, Surgery, Transplant, NICU and ED specialties required 3. Certifications: LCSW, MAB (Managing Assaultive Behavior) Training required; CPI Blue Card from Crisis Prevention Institute required for ER nurses (MAB or Online CPI Blue certification not accepted) 4. License: Valid CA State License required in-hand when applying; EMSA not accepted 5. Education: Masters Social Work required 6. EMR: EPIC experience required and must be noted in traveler's work history 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 shifts 8am-4:30pm, variable days with 1 weekend day/week; willing to work weekends/evenings 8. RTO: No RTO within first two weeks; max 7 days per 13-week contract; all RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed; screenshot of traveler confirming RTO required when applying 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone minimum of 1 year to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: No Nursys or background hits accepted 12. Modules: 4-8 hours average, billable during orientation, completed during orientation or at home post-start, self-reported; annual modules are non-billable 13. Travel Experience: 1 year minimum traveling experience required (must); ideally in academic medical hospital in last 1-5 years 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: COVID-19 vaccine required plus current booster (no exemptions).
