- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 2 years specialty experience minimum; 3+ years recent experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers 2. Cases: NICU/PICU preferred; Pediatric experience strongly preferred and required for most positions 3. Certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS required prior to start; NRP required 4. License: DC RRT License required (can accept pending with proof and pending license number); must apply within 24-48 hours of signing; active license required before start date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3 or 4 shifts per week; every other weekend required; no on-call; floating within scope but not to sister facilities; 36 hours guaranteed, up to 48 hours available 8. RTO: Max 3 shifts off for 13-week contracts, max 8 shifts for 26-week contracts; if taking full week must add additional week to contract; no RTO August 31-September 6, November 23-29, December 21-January 3; RTO submitted after offer will not be approved; one holiday guaranteed 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone minimum 1 year to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No mile restrictions for locals; locals accepted at same bill rate 11. Background: No license or background hits allowed 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 20 hours; pre-start modules completed prior to orientation 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color, no logos, child-friendly attire required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Preferred vents include Draeger, Servo I, Astral 150, Hamilton C1 Critical: COVID-19 vaccine required plus current booster with no exemptions.
