- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; critical care experience within last 12 months required; Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred; pediatric experience preferred but not required 2. Cases: Adult trauma and burns patients; medically and neurologically complicated cases; trach patients; spinal cord injury; complex sleep disordered breathing; BPICU, SICU, MICU and NSICU patients 3. Certifications: BLS required; RRT credentialed required; ACLS, NRP, PALS noted with asterisks; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: WA license required; pending licenses not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required (HARDSTOP) 7. Shifts/Call: 3 12-hour shifts 0630-1800; required to work all scheduled shifts; weekend coverage required every other weekend; on-call not required 8. RTO: Minimal; cannot accommodate RTO during first 2 weeks; facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside approved RTO 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff requires 18 months separation 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate; candidates float within hospital 11. Background: Must disclose any hits when submitted 12. Modules: 2-3 hours for Allied, non-billable, completed pre-start; additional 6 hours if WA suicide prevention training required for MSL work; recorded via transcripts by facility 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any solid color scrubs; light blue provided on unit; OR provides scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Ventilators (Hamilton G5, Servo U, Zoll, LTV, Trilogy); INO; Inhaled Epoprosentol; ECLS equipment; Cough Assist/MIE and LP/LPV required Critical: Compliance deadline 3 business days prior to start. 2 references required at submittal (prefer supervisory).
