- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: NICU and/or PICU experience required (HARD STOP) 3. Certifications: BCLS, RRT required; NRP, PALS required; all certifications not required at time of submittal unless otherwise noted 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license; Illinois requires license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no on-call required; will float within scope as needed 8. RTO: 2 requests maximum; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; standard travelers can stay 18 months then take 3-month break 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any color or St. Louis Children's Hospital T-shirts/jackets 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Servo ventilator, nitric oxide, HFO (High Frequency Oscillator) Critical: Must have facial hair that allows proper fit testing or be willing to shave.
