Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Must have critical care experience for high volume ER, Level 1 Trauma Center including Neurotrauma, cardiovascular services, and medical/surgical ICU patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist by NBRC) required; CRT not accepted 4. License: VA Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner required; other state licenses accepted but must obtain 90-day temporary authorization while VA permanent license issues 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 7p-7a; may be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block; facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks 8. RTO: Must work 1 holiday per 13-week contract (2 holidays for winter holidays); all RTO requests must be included with submission 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum 1 year before returning; after 365 days worked, cannot return despite separation period (effective July 1, 2025) 10.
