Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Weekend Requirements: Days: every third, Nights: every other
Holiday Requirements: Rotate with perm staff
Requirements:
- NE License
- 1 Year Experience
- Recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience
- Experience or Must have’ skills: EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
- RRT
- NRP & PALS preferred

- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes **RECENT LEVEL 1 OR LEVEL 2 EXP REQUIRED** BLS, ACLS, RRT or CRT required (NRP & PALS preferred)* Radius Rule: 50 miles **Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.** **Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract - Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?): All- neonates to geriatrics - What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.): Inpatient- covering all areas/floors - Experience or 'Must have' skills: EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7?: Yes - Is there a Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each shift?: Lead - Would the traveler ever be the only RT in-house?: No - RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Vents: Drager, Servo I, Carefusion (Heliox and Nicu use only); Bipaps: Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T; High flow: Airvo2 - Shifts & Scheduling: 7-7, Team scheduling - Weekend Requirements: Days: every third, Nights: every other - Holiday Requirements: Rotate with perm staff - Floating Requirements: To different area throughout the hospital in the RT capacity - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3-12 hour shifts - Additional Notes: The best things about working in this department is the ability to work in a different level of patient care every day, the teamwork between RT, providers, and nursing.
